Morning in the world of Christianity and afternoon in the world of Islam – this could be a short description of our day trip to Međugorje & Mostar.
Međugorje is a small town in Bosnia & Herzegovina, from whence reports stemmed in the early 1980s of appearances by the Virgin Mary to nearby village children. It has consequently become a site of religious pilgrimage. Although the Holy See does not recognize these events as authentic, it did form an investigative commission and made it responsible for any possible judgment on the case. Authentic or not, the reports made this remote place famous.
We will spend the second part of the day in Mostar, probably the most charming city on the Balkan Peninsula, and which could steal your heart forever.

This mixture of cultures, religions, Mediterranean and continental air, makes the city unforgettable. Encounter a place of poetry, narrow pebble streets and scents of the Orient. Walk over the famous bridge, and listen to the glorious and tragic days of this place. We will visit one of many mosques here, and stop for a cup of real coffee in the Turkish House.
