Istria Tour
Motovun adrift in the clouds and its truffles, the Roman amphitheatre at Pula, the Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč.

Istria, the biggest Croatian peninsula, formed in the shape of a heart, is a paradise for every traveller. Not only are visitors from all over the world attracted to its rich history, splendid monuments and beaches, but also to its distinctive cuisine, exquisite wines and the homely atmosphere in local restaurants.
During our journey we visit the old hilltop town of Motovun, often mysteriously appearing to be adrift in the clouds themselves. With its thousand-year history, Motovun hosts an annual international film festival and is famous for that most supreme of delicacies, the truffle. Following a tasting of local truffle recipes, we drive to Pula.
Here, besides the grand amphitheatre, a relic of the Roman Empire, we visit the Forum, the Temple of Augustus, the triumphal Arch of the Sergii, and the Kastel fortress.
Later we invite you to indulge in local specialities in one of the traditional restaurants, and sample some home-produced wine. The last stop is Poreč, where inside the ancient castrum we visit the 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica, one of UNESCO's most precious examples of church architecture in Europe.
