Korčula by boat from Gradac
From the harbour in Gradac on our own boat past Biokovo and Hvar to Marco Polo's town, with lunch on the way back.

From the harbour in Gradac we travel towards the Pelješac peninsula, all the while enjoying the stunning views of the Makarska Riviera and Biokovo mountain. The small settlements beneath the mountain's peak and the little towns along the coastline slowly disappear as the ship passes near the lavender island of Hvar.
Shortly, the island of Korčula commands your attention. This former Greek colony, and reputed birthplace of Marco Polo, is nowadays a wonderful holiday destination. We disembark at the island's principal town. A magical old settlement, fruit of the labours of talented stonemasons, it is the ancient home of shipbuilders and sailors who travelled the world and brought their experiences back with them, creating one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean.
You may stroll around the town on your own, visiting art galleries or sitting down in a cosy coffee shop to try local sweets. You may also join our guided tour of the old town. Following our visit, lunch is served on board while the ship slowly makes its return to Gradac.
